The total capacity of this Home (old and new building together) is 268 beds, 75 of which are for independent beneficiaries and 193 of which are of stationery type for dependent beneficiaries. A functional and modernly equipped building of the new Retired and Elderly People’s Home was built in 2008 and it disposes with 2 rooms with one bed and 30 rooms with two beds of high standard.
According to the space and equipment, the facility is of a high standard type.
A new building of the Home is designated to accommodation of semi-mobile and immobile beneficiaries. The rooms are with two beds, air conditioning, equipped with the most updated equipment and they have their own bathrooms that are adapted to the needs of dependent (immobile and semi-mobile) beneficiaries.
The updated equipment provides for quality health care, nursing and rehabilitation services. Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and assistants provide those services. Each room has got its own balcony. In addition to standard equipment, the beneficiaries are also provided with TV, refrigerator, small stove, telephone, and signalling equipment that is necessary for communication with the nurse in the health care centre.

The facility disposes with the living room and work therapy room as well as with modernly equipped room for physical therapy.
The services of the Home imply full room and board, care, health protection and rehabilitation, social work services, cultural-entertainment, occupational and recreation activities as well as the hairdressers' services.

The old building of the Home started working in 1964.It used to be the landlord's castle and later on, it was adapted to fit to the needs of accommodation of adults and elderly people. Numerous work-occupational activities contribute to faster integration of beneficiaries and adaptation to specific characteristics of living in a community. Being located in the park, surrounded with lawns and rose gardens, with a lot of benches tucked in the silence of Futog outskirts, the Home in Futog supports the needs of people for social activities and communication. |
